2011 Rookie of the Year –
Lauren Olson
Lauren is an agent with RE/MAX
Results. In 2011 she did more than 3 million in sales
transactions. She is active with FCAR’s Young Professionals
Network and has earned her ABR Designation. She is a Big Sister
through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and has served on
the Board of Directors for the Delaplaine Arts Center.
2011 Community Service –
Sue Kalons
Sue is an agent with Real Estate
Teams and has been a licensed REALTORŪ since 2004. She currently
holds the GRI, SRES, CDPE, CIAS, and WHC designations and is
working towards CRS and PMN and has completed the ABR classes.
In 2011 she was President of the Frederick Women’s Council of
REALTORSŪ and graduated from the Maryland Association of
REALTORSŪ Leadership Academy. She is active with the FCAR
Informed Professional Committee.
Sue participated in Team HOPE in
2011 by writing poems of encouragement, taken from her own
breast cancer experience, that are included in the gift bags
given to breast cancer patients. She is active at Redeemer
Lutheran Church in Damascus, Maryland and gave financial support
to members of a mission team working in Mexicali, Mexico and
provided a scholarship for a teen to be a part of “Work Camp”,
where homes are repaired for needy seniors in nearby states.
2011 Affiliate of the
Year – Beau Pichon
Beau is an attorney with Village
Settlements and Chair of the FCAR Model Forms Committee. He
regularly attends FCAR membership meetings and has participated
in the annual FCAR Community Service Golf Tournament, American
Home Month project. He has taught continuing education classes
for FCAR and has contributed articles to the FCAR newsletter.
Since 2004 he has conducted free settlements for Habitat for
Humanity home buyers.
2011 REALTOR of the Year
– Sandy Fouche
Sandy is Broker/Owner of RE/MAX
Results. She merged two RE/MAX offices in 2010 and has continued
to grow her business. She was the 2011 FCAR President and has
served on various FCAR Committees, including Legislative,
Education, Membership, Grievance, Model Forms and Community
Service. She participated in the 2011 American Home Month
project. Sandy has a degree in Business Administration from
Mount Saint Mary’s University and has the GRI and CRB
designations. In 2010 she became a Buffini Certified Mentor. She
is currently a member of the Rotary Club of Frederick and a
member of Women’s Giving Circle, a local charitable
organization.
