The FCAR Office follows the policy of the Frederick County Public School system, which can be found HERE.  If FCPS Schools are closed, the FCAR office will be closed. 

 

If FCPS schools are running on a delayed opening or early closure schedule, the FCAR office hours will be adjusted accordingly. Information about closures and/or delays will be posted on the FCAR website and FCAR’s social media channels after 7 a.m.

 

Education and Events – Classes or events that are scheduled during an inclement weather period will be canceled and may be rescheduled. Participants will be notified via email about the cancellation and information about the rescheduled time and date. 

 

Committee Meetings – If a committee meeting is scheduled during an inclement weather period, FCAR staff will work with the committee chair to determine if the meeting will go on as planned, be rescheduled or delayed. Committee members will receive an email with information about cancellations and delays.
